The 9mobile app (ig9ite) also shows your data balance once logged in with your number.

Quick Notes

  • The NCC (Nigerian Communications Commission) has harmonized many telecom USSD codes across networks, which is why *323# works on most SIMs to check data balance.
  • If the USSD code fails, try the official network app; it’s often the most reliable way to view your remaining data and expiry.
  • Checking data balance via official apps also shows bonus plans (like night data) and total validity period more clearly.

Summary of Working Methods

MTN: Dial *323# or send “2” to 312, or use the MyMTN App.
